The Mission

We are students. We are mentors. We are educators. We are hospitality professionals, corporate partners and volunteers. We work together to bring education and training to young adults so they can work in the worldwide hospitality industry.

We are EGBOK Mission.

EGBOK (Everything's Gonna Be OK) Mission is an international non-profit organization empowering young adults with the educational and vocational training needed to support themselves as hospitality professionals.

Projects

The current project works with the students of Cambodia's Hope, a charitable organization responsible for the well-being and education of the 93 students at the Palm Tree Orphanage in Phnom Penh.

EGBOK Mission Fundraiser at Tavern At The Park: August 6, 2009

EGBOK MISSION SENDS EVERYONE A BIG THANK YOU FOR THEIR SUPPORT!

EGBOK Mission would like to thank everyone who supported the second event in Chicago held at Tavern At The Park to raise money for the students of Cambodia.

With the support of over 150 people who attended the event and many others who donated online and by mail, the event raised approximately $20,000.

The event was not only a blast for everyone that attended, but it also allows EGBOK Mission to continue to work towards our mission that is dedicated to helping young adults in developing countries receive the educational and vocational training needed to work within the service industry.

Money raised at the event will support Cambodia's Hope, a charitable organization responsible for the well-being and education of the 93 students at the Palm Tree Orphanage in Phnom Penh.

We will be sure to keep everyone updated on the EGBOK Mission. We will continue to update the website at http://www.egbokmission.org/ , our Facebook Page, and Twitter. If you are not on the Facebook Page please sign up to become a fan to stay updated on our progress. All photos from the event have been posted on the Facebook Page. Feel free to post your own.
